We drive a 2004 Getz as a family car. And we love it. Good MPG. You lose a bit of power on hills, but it’s still a nice drive.
Nice ride. The Getz isn’t too bad either.

@pattycarljackson and thats the reason why we dont want you cadillacs or buicks here, as they are cheap shit. We had a Lincoln Towncar imported here and after 1 year it was scraped as it was a new car but after a year nothing worked on it.. im not saying U.S cars a shit, but australians do have the right idea with their build quality and pricing
see this is why the u.s is better here you dont have to spend extra money on getting abs break assist or any of that stuff it comes standard on hyundai cars here

The getz’s gear box randomly pops out of gear when under load. Drives like a bucket of poo. its cramped inside with nasty blind spots. All its fancy feature come from a multi purpose cd player which i though was a good feature. Its a 1.3lt engine which gets the fuel economy of a big 4lt manual falcon and it cant even compete with its 1985 grandfather. Yes it is cheap to purchase but fuel and servicing costs are far to high ($250 for an oil change without witch you warranty expires) VERY POO CAR.
@pabro I have a brand new getz…. It is by far the most hateful little car on earth. Ive had a 1985 Holden Barina, Ford 1992 and 2002 XR6s and a 1994 ford fairmont. ALL these cars were cheaper to service and my 85 Barina got better fuel economy though it had the same engine, it handled better and went faster…. The Getz is a cheap car and nothing more. Ive never been able to get the claimed 7lt per hundred km out of the getz. Its closer to 8 or 9…. My 2002 XR6 got thoes kind of fuel figures.
